About Simply Schematic

Simply Schematic explains how everyday technology works, one diagram at a time. Wi-Fi, 3D printers, OLED screens, smart bulbs, solar panels: we take the things you use every day and show what happens inside.

Why diagrams

A good diagram can replace a page of text. Every article here is built around original schematics, step-by-step drawings and side-by-side comparisons, so you can see how something works, not just read about it.

Who we are

Simply Schematic is run by a small editorial team. We don’t publish under made-up names or fake expert bios. Our articles are signed “Simply Schematic Editorial Team”.

How we make our articles

  • Text and diagrams are prepared with the help of AI tools and then edited by our team.
  • We check facts against reliable sources: manufacturers, standards bodies, universities, government agencies and scientific publications. Every article ends with a list of sources.
  • We only say “we tested” when we actually tested something.
  • All diagrams and illustrations are original. We don’t use stock photos or other people’s images.
  • When the technology or the facts change, we update the article and show the date of the last update.

What we don’t cover

We explain how technology works. We don’t give medical, financial or legal advice.
