This Privacy Policy explains what information Simply Schematic (simplyschematic.com) collects when you visit the site and how we use it.
Information we collect
Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. This data is used to keep the site secure and working.
Emails you send us. If you write to editor@simplyschematic.com, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you. We don’t add you to any mailing list.
We don’t have user accounts, comments or newsletter sign-ups, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Cookies
The site currently doesn’t use advertising or analytics cookies. WordPress may set technical cookies only for site administrators who log in. If we add analytics or advertising in the future, we will update this page and ask for your consent where required.
Third-party services
- Hosting: Hostinger stores and processes server logs for us.
- Search engines: we see aggregated search data in Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools. This data doesn’t identify individual visitors.
- External links, for example in our Sources lists, lead to websites with their own privacy policies.
How long we keep data
We keep emails as long as needed to answer and follow up. Our host keeps server logs for a limited time under its own policy.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Depending on where you live, for example California or the EU, you may have additional rights under local law. We don’t sell or share personal information for advertising.
